Special Item Numbers

Awarded SINs

Privateer IT's GSA Schedule contract carries a Health IT Special Item Number, awarded under what was then IT Schedule 70. Health IT sits at the center of the company's federal experience, so this is the SIN most requirements will map to.

The authoritative list of awarded SINs, with the current period of performance, is published by GSA against the contract number. It is the record a contracting officer will check, so we link straight to it rather than restating it here.

Official GSA record

Verify contract status, awarded SINs, and period of performance directly against the government's own system of record.

Purchasing Pathways

Three ways to place work with Privateer IT

Each pathway below leads to the same delivery team. Which one fits depends on your competition strategy, dollar threshold, and timeline.

GSA Multiple Award Schedule

Order directly against MAS contract 47QTCA19D000J. Terms, ceiling rates, and labor categories are already negotiated, so a task order can be competed and awarded without a new full-and-open procurement.

SDVOSB & HUBZone set-aside

Privateer IT is an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and an SBA-certified HUBZone small business, so awards can be set aside under either program and count toward those socioeconomic goals.

Teaming & subcontracting

Prime contractors use Privateer IT to add certified small-business capacity and meet subcontracting plan commitments. We support both prime and subcontractor roles on federal programs.

VA Task-Order Work

Reaching Privateer IT for VA task orders

Contracting officers familiar with the T4NG portfolio ask about it directly, so the position is stated plainly here.

  • The original VA T4NG IDIQ ordering period ended 6 March 2026. It is no longer a route to new task orders for anyone.
  • T4NG2 — awarded 31 October 2023 to 30 prime contractors — is where VA IT task orders now flow. Privateer IT is not a T4NG2 prime.
  • VA work therefore reaches Privateer IT three ways: as a subcontractor to a T4NG2 prime, through the GSA Multiple Award Schedule, or through a direct SDVOSB or HUBZone set-aside.

Privateer IT has performed on T4NG task orders as a subcontractor. Those engagements, with the prime contractor and contract number for each, are listed under past performance.

For Prime Contractors

The similarly situated advantage

On a services set-aside, a prime may not pay more than 50% of the amount it receives from the government to firms that are not "similarly situated."

Privateer IT is an SBA-certified SDVOSB, which makes it a similarly situated entity. Work Privateer IT performs under an SDVOSB set-aside does not count against the prime's 50% limit — so adding Privateer IT to a team helps the prime meet the subcontracting limitation rather than consuming headroom against it.

Limitations on subcontracting: VAAR 852.219-75 and FAR 19.505. Under VA's Veterans First priority, SDVOSB is considered ahead of VOSB and other small-business set-asides, and the Rule of Two applies where two or more eligible SDVOSB offers are reasonably expected.

Certifications & Designations

Corporate certifications, kept separate from staff credentials

Federal buyers evaluate corporate certifications differently from individual professional credentials. Both are listed below, clearly distinguished.

Corporate certifications

  • SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Certification is administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration under the VetCert program, which assumed the function from the VA Center for Verification and Evaluation on 1 January 2023. Self-certification ended 22 December 2024.
  • SBA-certified HUBZone small business. Eligible for HUBZone set-aside and price-evaluation preference.
  • Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB).
  • ISO 9001:2015 — certified quality management system. The international standard for process-based quality management, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Privateer IT was first certified on 28 October 2019 and holds the certification today. Read the announcement.
  • Top Secret Facility Clearance. Privateer IT holds a facility clearance at the Top Secret level, supported by an in-house Facility Security Officer.

Individual staff credentials

The following are professional certifications held by Privateer IT delivery personnel. They are individual credentials, not corporate certifications, and are listed here to describe the depth of the delivery team.

  • ITIL — IT service management practice
  • Scrum — Agile delivery
  • VMware — virtualization engineering
  • Cloud platform certifications

Personnel security

Privateer IT maintains an in-house security clearance capability and processes VA onboarding and background investigations across the standard tiers — Tier 1 (Low / NACI), Tier 2 (Moderate / MBI), and Tier 4 (High / BI).

The company's stated commitment is to fully onboard a project team within 30 days of task order award.
